What is an end-of-life doula?

Sometimes referred to as death doulas, we create nurturing environments and provide compassionate care for the dying. It can be a daunting task to navigate all the needs of the dying. From finding a safe facility or creating one at home, to getting your medical team and family on the same page, to making sure your funeral arrangements are in place, planning for death can be complex. My role as a death doula is customized to each persons needs. I can be with you from the start or come to you at the very end. I’m here to guide, plan, and ease you through this difficult time.

How much is end-of-life care?

• Costs depend on the services provided. My general fees are $40/hour.
• A sliding scale and payment options are available. Currently, end-of-life doula services are not provided by insurance companies.
